I jumped off the diving board

On Friday at swimming lessons I jumped off the diving board. I was scared at first. I was still scared when I hit the water, and I didn't want to swim to the side. I really didn't even want to swim then. I was really, really, really, really, really scared.

Before that I went on the slide. That was not scary at all. The diving board--very scary. The thing that made the diving board so scary was that I didn't want to hit the water. I was scared because it was 10 feet deep.

Now with the slide that's not scary at all the water was only 5 ft deep. I still didn't want to swim, but once I kept going on there, I started to want to swim. It was fun.
